Theodore Scott and Tina Scott, a married couple, with four children, were working as elementary school teachers in Atlanta, Georgia. Cornelius Scott, Theodore’s identical twin brother, was an elementary school principal in Atlanta, Georgia. He was also married with two children. One day an old country Baptist preacher named Rev. Nathan Hutson who was also our pastor recommended that Tina Scott go to law school to become a lawyer. She really liked the idea and enrolled in law school at night while continuing to work full-time. This later inspired Theodore Scott to attend law school at night. Both Tina and Theodore continued to work full-time and attend law school at night while still raising four children. Tina passed the bar exam and became a full-time lawyer. After that, Theodore passed the bar exam, but continued to teach full-time until he developed his law practice. Then he left his job and became a full-time lawyer. All of this inspired Cornelius Scott to attend law school. After passing the bar exam, he continued to be a school principal until he grew his law practice. Then he left the school system and became a full-time lawyer. Finally, in 1998, Tina, Theodore, and Cornelius Scott became partners and formed the Law Firm of Scott, Scott & Scott, P.C., located in Decatur, Georgia. Since then, the Scott Scott & Scott has grown bringing on more legal personnel to further support the current clients, new clients, and the community.
